We love the west coast.
We grew up here, met here, fell in love here and have spent 15 years together here. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
We're thinking of this as a destination wedding, only the destination isn't that far away.
The general idea is that we'll be in Ucluelet and Tofino for 7 days (Thursday to Thursday) and we'd love for you to join us for however long you can. The ceremony is on Saturday and we have some fun things planned for before and after.
Itinerary
Thursday June 13th
4pm - 10pm: Cocktail Reception
Everyone is invited to join us in the Black Rock's lounge for food and drinks. This will be a great opportunity to meet your fellow wedding guests and catch up with old friends in a beautiful and casual setting.
Friday June 14th
4pm - 11pm: Traditional Salmon BBQ
Again, everyone is invited to join us on Big Beach - located right beside the Black Rock resort - for a traditional style salmon BBQ.
Saturday June 15th
4:30: Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony will take place either outside on Big Beach or the Black Rock's wine cellar, weather depending.
5:30: Cocktail reception
There will be a cocktail reception in the Black Rock's wine cellar following the ceremony.
7:00 - Late: Reception
The Reception will take place in the ballroom at the Black Rock resort.
Sunday June 16th
10am - 1pm: Brunch
There will be a brunch buffet available in the Black Rock's lounge.
Monday June 17th to Thursday June 20th
Surfing at Cox Bay
The newly married couple will be moving up island to the Cox Bay Beach Resort just south of Tofino BC. We're inviting anyone who's keen to join us there for 3 days of surfing, hot tubs, beaches and good times. We've secured a group rate for accommodations - see here.
